Life Extension MacuGuard® Ocular Support with Saffron & Astaxanthin – MacuGuard® provides lutein and zeaxanthin (including meso-zeaxanthin) from marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta) with phospholipids and mixed carotenoids, plus 20 mg of saffron stigma extract (Crocus sativus) and 6 mg of natural astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis algae, in an olive oil softgel.

Ingredients

Per softgel: MacuGuard® proprietary blend 208 mg – marigold extract (Tagetes erecta, flower) [providing 10 mg lutein, 4 mg meso-zeaxanthin and zeaxanthin], phospholipids, mixed carotenoids [providing 1.24 mg alpha-carotene]; saffron extract (stigma) 20 mg; natural astaxanthin [from CO2 extract of Haematococcus pluvialis algae] 6 mg.

Other ingredients: extra virgin olive oil, gelatin, glycerin, sunflower oil, purified water, palm oil, beeswax, acacia gum, maltodextrin, annatto colour.

Directions

Adults: 1 softgel a day with food and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
