Description

Life Extension Optimized Folate provides folate as the calcium salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) – the active form of folate found in the blood, which does not need to be converted like folic acid. 1700 µg DFE corresponds to 1000 µg of 5-MTHF.

Folate contributes to normal blood formation, normal homocysteine metabolism, normal psychological function and to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

Ingredients

Per tablet: folate [as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, calcium salt] 1700 µg DFE (850% NRV).

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, croscarmellose sodium, silica, vegetable stearate, stearic acid.

Directions

Adults: 1 tablet a day with food and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
