Description

Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA is a DHA-dominant fish oil from wild-caught anchovies and sardines with added vitamin D3 (400 IU), formulated for women before, during and after pregnancy. Small, easy-to-swallow soft gels (this version is unflavoured). The oil is in re-esterified triglyceride (rTG) form, the natural molecular form of omega-3s found in fish.

DHA maternal intake contributes to the normal brain development of the foetus and breastfed infants and to the normal development of the eye of the foetus and breastfed infants (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg DHA and EPA).
DHA contributes to maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA).
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA).
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function.

Ingredients

Per 2 soft gels: fish oil providing total omega-3 fatty acids 830 mg, of which EPA 205 mg and DHA 480 mg; vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 10 µg (200% NRV); energy 10 kcal; fat 1 g.

Ingredients: purified deep sea fish oil (from anchovies, sardines, mackerel and herring), soft gel capsule (gelatin, glycerin, water), RRR-alpha-tocopherol (antioxidant), vitamin D3 (olive oil, cholecalciferol).

Directions

Adults: 2 soft gels a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
