Description
Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC) is a form of carnitine that, like L-carnitine, helps carry fatty acids into the mitochondria for energy production – and, unlike plain carnitine, can cross the blood-brain barrier.
This is the pure powder version from NOW Foods: nothing but acetyl-L-carnitine HCl, so the dose is easy to adjust and there are no capsules to swallow.
