Description

NOW Foods Arginine & Ornithine combines two related amino acids in one capsule. Both take part in the urea cycle, the process that removes nitrogen left over from protein metabolism; ornithine is formed from arginine in the body. The combination is popular with athletes and other active people.

A 2-capsule serving provides 1,000 mg of free-form L-arginine and 500 mg of L-ornithine.

Ingredients

Per 2 capsules: L-arginine (free-form) 1,000 mg; L-ornithine (from 644 mg L-ornithine HCl) 500 mg.

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source).

Directions

Adults: 2 capsules a day, preferably on an empty stomach with water or juice, before exercise or at bedtime. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
