NOW Foods Cayenne contains ground cayenne pepper (Capsicum annuum) with a heat rating of 40,000 units. Cayenne has been eaten and used in traditional practice for thousands of years; its heat comes from capsaicin. The capsule lets you take it without burning the mouth – best after a meal.

Per capsule: cayenne pepper (Capsicum annuum, fruit; 40,000 heat units) 500 mg.

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule).

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule 2 to 4 times a day, preferably after eating. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
