NOW Foods Flax Oil is organic, cold-pressed and unrefined flaxseed oil – a plant source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential omega-3 fatty acid the body cannot make itself. About 55% of the oil is ALA. The softgel protects the delicate oil from oxidation.

ALA contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA).

Ingredients

Per 3 softgels: organic flaxseed oil (Linum usitatissimum; cold pressed, unrefined) 3,000 mg; energy 25 kcal; fat 3 g, of which polyunsaturates 2 g, monounsaturates 0.5 g, saturates <0.5 g. Typical fatty acid profile: alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) 55%, linoleic acid (omega-6) 14%, oleic acid (omega-9) 19%.

Other ingredients: softgel (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water, caramel colour).

Directions

Adults: 3 softgels once or twice a day with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
