NOW Foods Gymnema Sylvestre contains a leaf extract of Gymnema sylvestre standardised to gymnemic acids – its characteristic compounds. The herb has been used in India for centuries; its Hindi name, gurmar, means "sugar destroyer", as chewing the leaves temporarily blocks the taste of sweetness.

Ingredients
Per capsule: Gymnema sylvestre leaf extract blend (with maltodextrin; standardised to gymnemic acids) 400 mg.
Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), rice flour, stearic acid (vegetable source), silicon dioxide.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
