Description

The double-strength version of NOW Foods L-Lysine: 1,000 mg in each tablet instead of 500 mg.

L-lysine is an essential amino acid – the body cannot produce it, so it must come from the diet. It is needed to build all proteins, including collagen and elastin, and is the starting material for carnitine. Diets low in meat, dairy and legumes can be relatively low in lysine.

Ingredients

Per tablet: L-lysine (from 1,270 mg L-lysine hydrochloride) 1,000 mg.

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, stearic acid (vegetable source), vegetarian coating, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (vegetable source).

Directions

Adults: 1 tablet once or twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
