Description
NOW Foods L-OptiZinc® provides zinc bound to the amino acid methionine – a form shown in studies to be well absorbed and retained. A small amount of copper is added to keep the two minerals in balance.
Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, nails and bones, to normal fertility and reproduction, and to normal protein synthesis.
Ingredients
Per capsule: zinc (from 167 mg L-OptiZinc® monomethionine) 30 mg; copper (from 3 mg copper bisglycinate) 0.3 mg.
Other ingredients: rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source), maltodextrin, citric acid, silicon dioxide.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
