Description
NOW Foods L-Ornithine Powder contains only L-ornithine hydrochloride – no fillers and no anti-caking agents, so small lumps can form; that is normal. The hydrochloride (the same acid naturally present in the stomach) keeps the ornithine stable.
L-ornithine is an amino acid at the centre of the urea cycle, the process that removes ammonia left over from protein metabolism. It works with arginine and citrulline and can be converted into arginine, as well as into proline, glutamate and creatine.
