Description

The double-strength version of NOW Foods L-Tryptophan: 1,000 mg in a single tablet, twice the amount of the regular capsules.

L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid that the body must get from food. It is the starting material for serotonin and, from serotonin, for melatonin. Every batch is tested to be free of Peak E and microbial contamination.

Ingredients

Per tablet: L-tryptophan (free-form) 1,000 mg.

Other ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), vegetarian coating (hypromellose, calcium carbonate, glycerin), silicon dioxide.

Directions

Adults: 1 tablet 1 to 3 times a day on an empty stomach, with the last dose at bedtime. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
