Description

N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a stable form of the sulphur-containing amino acid cysteine. The body uses cysteine as one of the three building blocks of glutathione, one of its own key antioxidant molecules.

NOW Foods NAC adds 25 mcg of selenium from L-selenomethionine. Selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, to the normal function of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal hair and nails.

Ingredients

Per capsule: selenium (as L-selenomethionine) 25 mcg; N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) 600 mg.

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source), citric acid, microcrystalline cellulose.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep the bottle tightly closed between uses and leave the freshness packets inside until it is empty.
