Description

SAMe (S-adenosyl-L-methionine) is a compound the body makes from the amino acid methionine. It is one of the body's most important donors of methyl groups and takes part in many biochemical reactions, including those in the brain and in the joints.

NOW Foods SAMe uses a stabilised form of SAMe, which keeps it intact without an enteric coating and allows a relatively small tablet.

Ingredients

Per tablet: SAMe (S-adenosyl-L-methionine, from S-adenosyl-L-methionine disulfate tosylate) 400 mg.

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), pharmaceutical glaze, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide, glycerin, sodium alginate, L-arginine.

Directions

Adults: 1 tablet 2 to 4 times a day, preferably on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
