NOW Foods Vitamin B-12 5000 mcg is a high-dose lozenge that dissolves in the mouth – no water needed. Each one also contains 400 mcg of folic acid. Natural sources of B-12 are almost only animal foods, so it is a common choice for vegetarians and vegans.

Vitamin B-12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal red blood cell formation and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Folate contributes to normal blood formation and to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

Ingredients

Per lozenge: folate 680 mcg DFE (400 mcg folic acid); vitamin B-12 (as cyanocobalamin) 5,000 mcg.

Other ingredients: fructose, sorbitol, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), citric acid, natural flavours, silicon dioxide.

Directions

Adults: 1 lozenge a day with a meal – let it dissolve in the mouth, then swallow. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
