Description

Swanson Homocysteine Formula combines betaine (trimethylglycine) with vitamin B6, folic acid and vitamin B12 – the nutrients involved in the body's metabolism of the amino acid homocysteine.

Ingredients

Per capsule: vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl) 50 mg (3571% NRV); folic acid 391 µg (196% NRV); vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 500 µg (20000% NRV); betaine HCl 500 mg.

Other ingredients: gelatin (capsule), magnesium stearate, silica, rice flour.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule twice a day with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Warnings

For adults only. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition. Contains betaine hydrochloride – not suitable for people with stomach ulcers. High-dose product: the amount per serving exceeds the tolerable upper intake level set by EFSA for vitamin B6 (12 mg/day). Do not combine with other supplements containing it, do not use long-term without medical supervision, and consult a doctor before use. Long-term intake of high doses of vitamin B6 may cause peripheral neuropathy (tingling, numbness) – stop use if such symptoms occur. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
