Description
Allnutrition Betaine HCl + Pepsin combines betaine hydrochloride – an acidic salt of betaine (trimethylglycine) – with pepsin, a protein-digesting enzyme, in one capsule taken with a meal.

Ingredients
Per capsule: betaine hydrochloride 650 mg; pepsin (1:3000 MDP) 150 mg.
Other ingredients: capsule (gelatin, colour: iron oxides and hydroxides), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide.
Allergens: may contain gluten, soy, milk and eggs.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule a day with a protein-containing meal and water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warnings
For adults only. Do not use if you have stomach or duodenal ulcers, gastritis or heartburn, or take anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, corticosteroids). Daily intake of betaine above 4 g may significantly increase blood cholesterol. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
