Description
Allnutrition Sodium Butyrate Forte provides 600 mg of sodium butyrate per vegetable capsule, standardised to 80% butyric acid – 1200 mg sodium butyrate (960 mg butyric acid) in the daily serving of 2 capsules. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid naturally produced by gut bacteria from dietary fibre. It is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of intestinal disorders (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome) under medical supervision.

Ingredients
Per 2 capsules: energy 38 kJ / 9 kcal, fat 1 g, carbohydrate 0 g, protein 0 g, salt 0.2 g; sodium butyrate 1200 mg (butyric acid 960 mg).
Ingredients: sodium butyrate, capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), thickener: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule twice a day during or after a meal with water, for 3 months or as directed by a doctor. Do not exceed 2 capsules a day.
