Description

Doctor's Best Fully Active Folate 400 provides folate as Quatrefolic® – the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, the active form of folate found in the blood, which does not need to be converted in the body. Each capsule also contains 40 mg of vitamin C.

Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, to normal blood formation, to normal homocysteine metabolism, to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Ingredients

Per capsule: folate (as Quatrefolic® (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid glucosamine salt) 400 µg DFE (200% NRV); vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 40 mg (50% NRV).

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose (vegetarian capsule).

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule a day, preferably between meals with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
