Description
Enzymedica Berberine Phytosome contains Berbevis® – an extract of Indian barberry root (Berberis aristata) standardised to 28–34% berberine, bound to sunflower lecithin (Phytosome® technology by Indena) for better absorption than a standard berberine extract. Berberine is a yellow alkaloid found in several traditional medicinal plants.

Ingredients
Per capsule: Berbevis® berberine phytosome (Berberis aristata root extract standardised to 28–34% berberine, sunflower lecithin) 275 mg.
Other ingredients: rice hulls, rice bran extract, vegetarian capsule (cellulose, water).
Free from: casein, crustaceans, eggs, fish, gluten, milk, nuts, sesame, shellfish, soy and wheat; no artificial colours or flavours.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule twice a day with meals with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

For adults only. Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women or children. Do not use if you have diabetes, pre-diabetes or low blood sugar, or if you take medication (especially for blood sugar, blood pressure, blood thinners, cyclosporine or medicines metabolised by the liver) unless advised by a doctor.
