Description
Jarrow Formulas N-A-C Sustain provides 600 mg of N-acetyl-L-cysteine in a bilayer tablet that releases part of the dose immediately and the rest gradually over several hours. NAC is the acetylated form of the sulphur-containing amino acid L-cysteine, one of the three building blocks of glutathione.

Ingredients
Per tablet: N-acetyl-L-cysteine 600 mg.
Other ingredients: carbomer, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium phosphate, beetroot powder (colour), stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide, coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid).
Allergens: none of the major allergens (free from wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts and sesame).
Directions
Adults: 1 tablet 1–2 times a day, preferably on an empty stomach with fruit juice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warnings
For adults only. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or under 18. Prolonged or high intake may alter liver function test results without affecting actual liver function – tell your doctor you are taking NAC. Consult a doctor if you are taking medication (especially nitroglycerin or activated charcoal) or have a medical condition, including asthma. Keep out of reach of children. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
