Life Extension Tri Sugar Shield® combines three plant extracts: sorghum bran (Sorghum bicolor) providing 270 mg proanthocyanidins, white mulberry leaf (Morus alba) providing 1-deoxynojirimycin (DNJ), and phloridzin from apple root bark. White mulberry leaf is traditionally used as a tea in East Asia.

Ingredients
Per capsule: sorghum bran (Sorghum bicolor) extract [providing 270 mg proanthocyanidins] 300 mg; white mulberry extract (leaf) [providing 7.5 mg 1-deoxynojirimycin] 150 mg; phloridzin [from apple root bark extract] 50 mg.
Other ingredients: vegetable cellulose (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, silica, stearic acid.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule twice a day, immediately before the meals richest in carbohydrates. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
