Description

Nature's Answer Maca is a liquid extract of maca root (Lepidium meyenii), with each 1 ml serving (about 28 drops) providing 1000 mg of herb (1:1 dry herb equivalent). Nature's Answer alcohol-free extracts are made with the company's cold Bio-Chelated® process, which extracts the plant in purified water and vegetable glycerin without alcohol or heat, aiming to keep the full spectrum of the plant's constituents. The extract has a mildly sweet taste from glycerin and contains no added sugar. Maca is a root vegetable of the high Peruvian Andes, grown at over 4,000 m and traditionally eaten as food.
