NOW Foods Ashwagandha contains an extract of Withania somnifera root and leaf standardised to at least 2.4% withanolides. Ashwagandha is one of the most important herbs in Ayurveda, where it is used as a general tonic and adaptogen – a plant traditionally used to help the body cope with everyday stress.

Ingredients

Per capsule: ashwagandha extract (Withania somnifera, root and leaf; min. 2.4% withanolides) 450 mg.

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source), rice flour.

Directions

Adults: 1 capsule 2 to 3 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
