NOW Foods Maca Pure Powder. Maca (Lepidium meyenii) grows at high altitudes in the Andes of central Peru and has been eaten for centuries as a food and traditional energy tonic. This organic maca is gelatinised – a fully vegetarian process (unrelated to gelatin) that removes starch and concentrates the root 6:1. The powder has a malty, nutty taste and mixes easily into smoothies, shakes or porridge.

Ingredients
Per level teaspoon (2.7 g): organic raw maca root 6:1 concentrate (Lepidium meyenii, gelatinised; equivalent to 16.2 g of maca root) 2,700 mg.

Directions
Adults: mix 1 level teaspoon a day into water or another drink. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
