Description

NOW Sports MCT Oil is pure, unflavoured medium-chain triglyceride oil in a glass bottle. Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are fats found naturally in coconut and palm kernel oil – mainly caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) acid. They are digested and absorbed faster than most other fats. Take it by the spoon, add it to coffee or shakes, or use it in dressings and sauces. Not suitable for frying because of its low smoke point.

Available in a 473 ml glass bottle (about 32 servings) and a 946 ml plastic bottle (about 63 servings)

Ingredients

Per tablespoon (15 ml): MCT oil (from coconut/palm kernel oil; 50% caprylic acid C8, 30% capric acid C10) 14 g; energy 130 kcal; fat 14 g, of which saturates 14 g.

Directions

Adults: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) a day. Start with a smaller amount to assess tolerance. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
