NOW Foods Nutritional Yeast is a primary-grown yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Red Star®) cultivated on purified cane and beet molasses – not a by-product of brewing like brewer's yeast. It has a pleasant, savoury, cheese-like taste, is naturally rich in protein and fibre, and is fortified with B vitamins including B-12, making it a staple in vegan cooking. The flakes are ideal sprinkled on pasta, popcorn, salads or soups.

Ingredients
Per 2 level tablespoons (9 g): energy 35 kcal; fat <0.5 g; carbohydrate 3 g, of which sugars 0 g; fibre 2 g; protein 5 g; potassium 180 mg; thiamin 6 mg; riboflavin 6 mg; niacin 32 mg; vitamin B-6 6 mg; folate 675 µg DFE (405 µg folic acid); vitamin B-12 14 µg.
Ingredients: dried yeast, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride (B-6), riboflavin, thiamine hydrochloride, folic acid, cobalamin (B-12).
Directions
2 level tablespoons a day, sprinkled on food or mixed into milk, juice or shakes.
