Description
NOW Foods Policosanol Double Strength provides 20 mg of policosanol – a blend of long-chain fatty alcohols from plant waxes, mainly octacosanol – twice the amount in the regular version. It is combined with artichoke leaf extract, milk thistle (80% silymarin), alpha lipoic acid and grape seed extract.
Ingredients
Per capsule: policosanol 20 mg; artichoke leaf extract (Cynara scolymus, min. 2% caffeoylquinic acids) 100 mg; milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum, fruit/seed, 80% silymarin); alpha lipoic acid 50 mg; grape seed extract (Vitis vinifera, standardised for polyphenols) 30 mg.
Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), maltodextrin, rice flour, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule once or twice a day, preferably with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
