Description
Swanson Marshmallow Root contains ground root of Althaea officinalis, a perennial of European salt marshes. The root is particularly rich in mucilage – water-soluble polysaccharides – and has been part of European herbal tradition since ancient Greece.

Ingredients
Per capsule: marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) 500 mg.
Other ingredients: gelatin (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, silica, magnesium stearate.
Directions
Adults: 1 capsule a day with water. Take other medication at least 1 hour apart. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
