Description
Swanson Slippery Elm Bark provides a 4:1 extract of the inner bark of the North American red elm (Ulmus rubra), equivalent to 3.2 g of bark per serving. The bark is rich in mucilage, which forms a smooth gel with water, and was a staple of Native American herbal tradition.

Ingredients
Per 2 capsules: slippery elm 4:1 extract (Ulmus rubra, bark) 800 mg.
Other ingredients: gelatin (capsule), maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica.
Directions
Adults: 2 capsules a day with water. Take at least 1 hour apart from medication, as mucilage may slow its absorption. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
